Microblading coming to Bella Medici Medical Spa

What is Microblading?

Microblading Is the Off-the-Wall Brow Treatment Everyone Is Talking About.  Microblading is a way of implanting pigment under the epidermis using a specially designed tiny blade which leaves thin realistic hair strokes for the most natural finish. Together we design a brow which is totally bespoke to you – your colour will be mixed from the highest quality pigments just for you. With this technique we can create almost any look, from a very natural light finish or a beautifully bold brow. Sparse or missing brows can be completely restored. When using the hand held microblade, the colour is deposited closer to the surface than when a machine is used leaving very fine and crisp hair strokes with no spilling under the skin.

                                       What is Microblading2

Microblading originated in Asia and is also known as eyebrow embroidery. A fantastic treatment for anyone looking to improve or enhance the appearance of their eyebrows.
Microblading can fill in sparse brows or create a new brow. Unlike traditional eyebrow tattoos, the Microblading method won't leave a flat dull look and is a much safer treatment. The "3D" effect adds realism to the end result; which makes this the perfect procedure for Men and Women seeking to improve the look of their brows and you can have natural looking makeup, 24/7.

This will vary with the type of work you are having done and of course of your sensitivity. Usually it takes 1-2 hours.

How long does it last?
Microblading lasts 6 months to 2 years and fade completely without leaving a shadow behind. To maintain Microblading, touch ups are necessary every 6 - 9 months.

How often do I need a touch up?
Touch ups are recommended every six months to a year, to keep the color and strokes fresh.

Does it hurt?
Microblading method is the gentlest method you will find for implanting permanent color into the skin. For me the feeling is very similar to tweezing. If you are sensitive, they can also use topical anesthetic.

Anything to avoid after the procedure?
Yes. Heavy exercise should be avoided for at least a week for best results—any sweat formed on your brows can fade your healing color. Swimming should be on hold for at least a week, pool chemicals would erode your healing color as well. Outdoors activities such as gardening or golf can be resumed as long as your treatment area remains clean, dry, and out of the sun. For best results do not expose your procedure to any unnecessary wear.
